EMRS Recruitment 2026 Overview
Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) are premier central residential educational institutions established under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, to provide quality secondary and senior secondary education to tribal students in remote areas across India. Recruitment is managed centrally by the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS).
EMRS 2026 has declared approximately 10,391 vacancies across teaching and non-teaching cadres including Principal, PGT, TGT, Hostel Warden (Male & Female), Accountant, Lab Attendant, and Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA). The selection process utilizes an OMR-based offline examination (120–130 marks subject + 30 marks Language Competency Test with mandatory 40% qualifying marks in English, Hindi, and Regional Language).
