SSC strictly requires a photograph file size between 20 KB and 50 KB in JPEG format with dimensions approximately 3.5 cm in width and 4.5 cm in height (around 350x450 pixels). The background must be plain white or off-white, both ears visible, and spectacles or caps are prohibited.
What are the UPSC photo specifications with Name and Date?▼
UPSC requires photographs between 20 KB and 300 KB with dimensions between 350x350 pixels and 1000x1000 pixels. The photo must not be older than 10 days from the date of application, and the candidates name and the date of photograph (DOP) must be clearly printed at the bottom strip.
