RPSC RAS 2026 अवलोकन
RPSC Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) and Rajasthan Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Examination is Rajasthan's premier civil services examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Ajmer. It selects officers for top state cadres including Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS), Rajasthan Police Service (RPS), Rajasthan Accounts Service, and Rajasthan Tehsildar Service.
RPSC RAS 2026 offers approximately 905 vacancies. The examination architecture features: Preliminary Examination (Single paper of 150 questions for 200 marks in 3 hours with 1/3 negative marking and mandatory 5th option to prevent tampering), Main Written Examination (4 descriptive papers totaling 800 marks: GS 1, GS 2, GS 3 of 200 marks each, and General Hindi & General English for 200 marks), followed by a 100-mark Personality Test / Viva-Voce.
Selected RAS officers enter state service at Pay Level 14 (₹56,100 basic pay) with an in-hand monthly salary of ₹75,000–₹1,05,000, official government transportation, executive accommodation in district collectorates, and direct promotional elevation to IAS cadres.
