Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) is Bihar's premier state civil services examination, selecting administrative leadership for elite state cadres including Bihar Administrative Service (Sub-Divisional Officer / Senior Deputy Collector), Bihar Police Service (Deputy Superintendent of Police — DSP), Bihar Financial Service (Commercial Tax Officer), and Revenue Officer.
BPSC 70th / 71st CCE 2026 has announced a historic recruitment of 1,957 executive vacancies. The modernized examination framework includes: Preliminary Examination (150 objective questions for 150 marks in 2 hours with 1/3 negative marking), Main Written Examination (General Hindi 100 marks qualifying, GS Paper 1 of 300 marks, GS Paper 2 of 300 marks, and Essay Paper of 300 marks, with an MCQ-based qualifying Optional Subject), followed by a 120-mark Personality Test / Interview.
